埃尔南多·德·索托
西班牙探险家（1496？—1542）
埃尔南多·德·索托（西班牙語：Hernando de Soto，约1500年10月27日—1542年5月21日），文艺复兴时期西班牙探险家，[1]于1519年参加征服危地马拉的军队。[2]他率军协助在秘鲁的皮萨罗后，他是最早进入印加都城库斯科的欧洲人之一。后来，他用了三年时间对今天美国东南部进行探险，所到地区位于今密西西比河以西。[3]
