Ushtria e Kuqe
Ushtria e Kuqe e Punëtorëve dhe e Fshatarëve (rusisht: Рабоче-крестьянская Красная армия; РККА ose Rabočě-krěst'janskaja Krasnaja armija; RKKA) nisi të krijohej nga grupet komuniste luftarake të Bashkimit Sovjetik gjatë Luftës Civile Ruse të 1918-1922. Ajo u rrit në një ushtri kombëtare te Bashkimit Sovjetik. Në vitin 1930 Ushtria e Kuqe ishte një nga ushtritë më të mëdha në histori.

Emri "Ushtria e Kuqe" ka lidhje me ngjyrën tradicionale të lëvizjes punëtore. Më 25 shkurt 1946 (kur simbolet kombëtare sovjetike zëvendësuan simbolet revolucionare), Ushtria e Kuqe u riquajt Ushtria Sovjetike (Советская Армия, Sovetskaya Armiya).
Ushtria e Kuqe është pranur gjërësisht që ka qenë forca vendimtare në fitoren e Aleatëve në teatrin evropian të Luftës së Dytë Botërore, duke angazhuar dhe mundur rreth 80% te forcave te armatosura gjermane, Wehrmacht-in dhe shume nga Waffen-SS në Frontin Lindor. [1]
