William Hurt
American actor (1950–2022)
William McChord Hurt (March 20, 1950 – March 13, 2022) was an American actor. He won an Academy Award in 1985 for his work in the movie movie Kiss of the Spider Woman. He played Thaddeus Ross in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In May 2018, Hurt was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer.[1] He later died from the disease on March 13, 2022 at his home in Portland, Oregon, only one week before his 72nd birthday.[2][3]
