Vasily Jakovlevich Zinger
Russian mathematician (1836-1907)
Vasily Jakovlevich Zinger (Russian: Василий Яковлевич Цингер) (February 11, 1836, Moscow, Russia – March 2, 1907, Moscow, Russia) was a Russian mathematician. Не worked in Moscow University and was the head of the Society of Moscow mathematicians (1886 – 1891).

He was also a botanist and philosopher.
Zingeria of the Poaceae was named in honour of Vasily Zinger.[1]
