Rebecca Maung
Senior Evaluation Strategist, Community Growth, Wikimedia Foundation
About me
I use the tools of social science research to help build a better world. I have worked with the Wikimedia Foundation since 2019.
I am trained in mixed-methods data collection and analysis, and before joining the Foundation spent 8 years conducting research and communicating sociological insights through writing and teaching. Prior to this, I worked in public health research in Baltimore, Maryland. I have a PhD in Sociology from the University of Minnesota and an MHS in International Social and Behavioral Health from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
My work
I work with the Community Growth teams to evaluate the impact of our partnership, grant-making, and capacity development programming.
