I hail from Khaplu (ཁ་པུ་ལུ།), a small city located in Baltiyul (སྦལ་ཏི་ཡུལ།), formerly an independent kingdom in northern Pakistan. I am currently an active editor on Simple English Wikipedia. I mainly focus on creating and editing articles related to history, geography, ethnicities, religion, and languages. Additionally, I contribute by reverting vandalism, handling categorization, and reviewing new pages. It was located in the Baltistan region on the Tibetan plateau, being the second-largest Balti Kingdom after the Makpon Kingdom. They held control over the trade route to Ladakh along the Shyok River, east of where it meets the Indus. The Yabgo dynasty had strong political and family connections with the royal families of neighboring Ladakh and Makpon, thanks to intermarriages within the royal circles. Read more... |
