Sundus Abbas
Iraqi activist
Sundus Abbas (Arabic: سندس عباس) is an Iraqi activist for women's rights. She is the executive director of the Women's Leadership Institute in Baghdad. In 2007, Abbas received the International Women of Courage Award.[1]

Abbas teaches women about government and making decisions.[2]
Abbas is from the Iraqi Turkmen ethnic group. In 2016 she represented the Turkmen people at a meeting at the European Parliament.[3]
