Splenomegaly is the enlargement of the spleen. It frequently occurs in asscociation with hematological cancers.
Causes
- Acute myeloid leukemia[1]

- Chronic lymphocytic leukemia[3]
- Autoimmune hemolytic anemia
- Polycythemia vera
- Chronic myeloid leukemia[4]
- Myelofibrosis[5]
- Typhoid fever[6]
- Infectious mononucleosis[7]
- Cirrhosis, often as a result of Portal hypertension.[8]
