Sirrako Ioanninon
Aromanian mountain village in Greece
Sirrako Ioanninon is a mountainous Greek village. It is in the district of Ioannina in the north-east of Greece. Sirrako is built at an altitude of 1,150 metres up the Lakmos mountain which makes it one of the highest Greek villages. It is a traditional village with old stone houses whose main characteristic is that they have slate roofs.The Greek famous poet Kostas Krystallis came from Sirraco.
