Marvel Television

television production company (2010–2019)

Marvel Television was a subsidiary of Marvel Entertainment that created television series based on Marvel Comics. Founded in 2010, Marvel Television originally intended to expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with television series including Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013–2020),[1] Daredevil (2015–2018), The Defenders (2017),[2] and more. The subsidiary later expanded to create projects for the X-Men movie series[3] and independent television series for Hulu.[4] Marvel Television was folded into Marvel Studios in 2019 and its final projects aired in 2020 and 2021.[5]
