Louie Anderson

American stand-up comedian and actor

Louis Perry Anderson (March 24, 1953 – January 21, 2022)[2] was an American stand-up comedian, actor, author and game show host.[3] Anderson made the cartoon series Life with Louie and has written three books. He was the host of the second revival of the game show Family Feud, from 1999 to 2002. He was nominated three times for an Emmy Award, for his performance on the comedy television series Baskets, and won it once in 2016.[4]

On January 18, 2022, it was announced that Anderson had been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2012 and was undergoing treatment in Las Vegas.[5] He died three days later at the age of 68.[6]
