Leopold Museum

The Leopold Museum is an art museum in Vienna. It opened 2001. It is known for its large collection of works by Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt. Rudolf Leopold and his wife Elisabeth collected the works. The works have been transferred to a foundation, the “Leopold Museum Private Foundation” in 1994. There are about 350,000 visitors per year. This makes it the most visited building in the MuseumsQuartier.
