Kazuo Chiba
Japanese aikidoka (1940–2015)
Kazuo Chiba (Japanese: 千葉和雄; 5 February 1940 – 5 June 2015), also known as T. K. Chiba, was a Japanese aikido teacher. He was best known as the founder of Birankai International which includes organizations in the United Kingdom, France, Austria, Greece, Poland, Canada, the United States and many other places worldwide. He was active in aikido for 50 years from 1958 until his retirement in 2008. He was born in Tochigi Prefecture.

Chiba died after a long illness on 5 June 2015 in San Diego, California, United States. He was 75.[1]
