José Luis Cuerda
Spanish film director
José Luis Cuerda Martínez (18 February 1947 – 4 February 2020) was a Spanish movie director, screenwriter and producer. He was born in Albacete, Castile-La Mancha, Spain. His best known works were Butterfly's Tongue, Amanece, que no es poco and The Blind Sunflowers. He won a Goya Award in 1988.

Cuerda died at his home in Madrid on 4 February 2020 at the age of 72.[1]
