John W. de Gruchy
Anti-apartheid leader
John W. de Gruchy (born 18 March 1939) is a South African Christian theologian. He is known for his work resisting apartheid.[1]

He is a Emeritus Professor at the University of Cape Town and Extraordinary Professor at the University of Stellenbosch. He was born in Pretoria, South Africa.
