József Janos Váradi is a Hungarian businessman. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of Wizz Air, a Budapest-based low cost carrier.

Varadi was born in the Hungarian city of Debrecen in 1965. He attended the Budapest University of Economic Sciences, after which he joined Procter and Gamble as a sales representative.
He then joined Malev Hungarian Airlines in 1999, where he served as CEO till 2003. Later that year he founded Wizz Air, which operated its maiden flight the following year.
