Hafiz Barkhurdar

Hazrat Hafiz Barkhurdar (1658–1707), was a Punjabi Sufi Jatt poet from the village of Takhat Hazara in Sargodha District in modern-day Pakistan. His shrine where he was buried stands in the village of Chitti Sheikhan in Sialkot District.
He was the first person to give name 'Punjabi' to the language of Punjab in 1672 A.D.
