George N. Hatsopoulos
American mechanical engineer
George Nicholas Hatsopoulos (January 7, 1927 – September 20, 2018) was a Greek-American mechanical engineer. He was born in Athens. He was known for his work in thermodynamics and for having co-founded Thermo Electron. He worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Hatsopoulos died on September 20, 2018 at his home in Lincoln, Massachusetts, aged 91.[1]
