Gender binary
classification of sex and gender into two distinct, opposite and disconnected forms of masculine and feminine
Gender binary is a term referring to a person who identifies as male or female. Not to be confused with gender binarism, which refers to discrimination against and denial of the existence of non-binary people due to the belief that only two distinct and mutually exclusive genders exist.
