Francesco Clemente

Francesco Clemente (born 23 March 1952) is an Italian painter and editor. He has lived in Italy, India and New York City.

He was a member of the Italian Transavanguardia movement of the 1980s, known for its return to figurative art and Symbolism. He was the co-editor of Hanuman Books from 1986 to 1993.
