The 2012 Australian Capital Territory general election was held on 20 October 2012 to elect all 25 members of the Australian Capital Territory Legislative Assembly. It was conducted by the Australian Capital Territory Electoral Commission (ACTEC).

The incumbent LaborGreens coalition government, led by Chief Minister Katy Gallagher and Meredith Hunter, won a fifth term in government. They were opposed by the Liberal Party, led by Zed Seselja. Greens leader Meredith Hunter lost her own seat, which was one of the five seats in the electorate of Ginninderra.
