It is locatit in the centre o the oblast. The aurie o the destrict is 1,150 square kilometer (440 sq mi). Its admeenistrative centre is the urban locality (a wirk dounset) o Ust-Donetsky.^[1] Population: 33,647 (2010 Census);^[4] 32,479 (2002 Census);^[7] 30,374 (1989 Census).^[8] The population o the admeenistrative centre accoonts for 35.1% o the destrict's total population.^[4]
