The first dounset o auncient fowk (hunters an fishermen) is datit tae the 6t–8t millennia BCE, i.e. in the late Stone Age. In the 8t–9t centuries, first Slavic tribes (Vyatichs an Krivichs) began settlin here. In an aroon the Mytishchi destrict aboot a dozen o siclike settlements (11t–13t centuries) are kent.
