Musikaren Taj Mahal

amerikansk bluesmusikar

Henry Saint Clair Fredericks (fødd 17. mai 1942), mest kjend under scenenamnet Taj Mahal, er ein USA-amerikansk bluesmusikar, låtskrivar og filmmusikkomponist som spelar gitar, piano, banjo, munnspel og mange andre instrument.[1] Han har ofte nytta element av verdsmusikk i musikken sin og har gjort mykje for å omforme definisjonen av blues og kva blues er i løpet av ein 50 år lang karriere der han blanda bluesen med ikkje-tradisjonelle former, som musikk frå Karibia, Afrika og Sør-Stillehavet.[2]
