മജ്ലിസ് അൽ ജിന്ന്

തറയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഉപരിതല പ്രദേശം കണക്കാക്കിയാൽ ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ രണ്ടാമത്തെ[1]ഗുഹ അറ ആണ് മജ്ലിസ് അൽ ജിന്ന്[2] (Arabic: مجلس الجن‎, meeting/gathering place of the Jinn, local name: Khoshilat Maqandeli) വ്യാപ്തം കണക്കാക്കിയാൽ താഴെയാകും സ്ഥാനം. മസ്കറ്റിൽ നിന്ന് 100 കിലോമീറ്റർ തെക്ക് കിഴക്ക് സുൽത്താനേറ്റ് ഓഫ് ഒമാനിൽ സമുദ്രനിരപ്പിന് 1,380 മീറ്റർ ഉയരമുള്ള സെൽമ പീഠഭൂമിയുടെ വിദൂര മേഖലയിലാണ് ഈ ഗുഹ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്.
