Nice work. I especially like the wikification restraint. Do we not have an article on Aristotle's concept of "the good", though? Jkelly00:25, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks (though it's not finished yet — I need to add at least another section). I couldn't find an article on the good; perhaps that should be my next task... --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 09:38, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm a little confused. Was the word "philia" coined by Aristotle, or is this article documenting his unique use of a generic Greek word in the context of his philosophy? 141.151.23.70 (talk) 11:26, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Again, pings don't work unless you use them properly. You cannot use the "@" symbol.
I removed the new image also. We can't assume readers of English Wikipedia will understand a German title, and "good friends" does not necessarily equate to "brotherly love". Why the push to add an image to this article? I suggest just leaving it alone. Meters (talk) 16:40, 16 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
If you have any more suggested images please list them here first. The format for listing an image without actually displaying it is to add a colon at the start, like this [[:File:Hermann Kern Gute Freunde 1904.jpg]], which displays as File:Hermann Kern Gute Freunde 1904.jpgMeters (talk) 17:03, 16 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
From the intro, 'The complete opposite is called a phobia.' I would think the opposite of loving something is hating it. Being afraid of it seems orthogonal to loving it.-phobiaphiliac — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.224.132.171 (talk • contribs)
