Shenzhou 19 (Chinese: 神舟十九号; pinyin: Shénzhōu Shíjiǔ-hào; lit. 'Divine Boat Number 19') is a planned Chinese spaceflight to the Tiangong space station, expected to launch in November 2024,[1] near the end of the Shenzhou 18 mission. It will carry three taikonauts on board a Shenzhou spacecraft. The mission will be the 14th crewed Chinese spaceflight and the 19th flight overall of the Shenzhou program.
Background
Shenzhou 19 is expected to launch prior to the completion of the previous mission, Shenzhou 18, however no specific date has been announced as of May 2024. It is planned to last about six months, as is standard with Shenzhou missions to Tiangong. It will depart following the arrival of the Shenzhou 20 crew.
