Description | Nederlands: Portretten van de Leidse bakker Arent Oostwaard (Arend Oostwaert) en zijn vrouw Catharina Keizerswaard (Catharina Keyzerswaert) met allerlei verschillende soorten vers gebakken brood (broodjes, krakelingen, kadetten, duivekater) voor de bakkerij. In de deur van de bakkerij blaast een jongetje, waarschijnlijk hun zoontje Thaddeus, op een hoorn. Boven de deur groeien wijnranken.Jan Havicksz Steen (ca. 1625–1679), olieverf op paneel, 1658 Français : Arent Oostwaard et sa femme English: Portrait of the Leiden baker Arent Oostwaard and his wife Catherina Keizerswaard with various kinds of fresh baked bread (buns, pretzels, rolls, hot-cross buns) for the bakery.
