The category seems unclear at present. Is it about "connectors" (i.e. physical and electrical standards for connector jacks) or is it more about logical "connections", i.e. the functional purposes carried out by these devices?
Given the entries included so far, such as Ethernet rather than RJ-45 (and many similar examples), I believe the original editor's purpose was more about the logical function, not the physical description. In terms of encyclopedic utility, this is also the more useful - it is a better fit to the "computer" qualifier, rather than the broad scope of physical jack standards, or the narrow scope for the particular formats used on PCs vs. Macs.
