Stone Cold Steve Austin

Sebelum menjadi pegulat Steve Anderson merupakan seorang pemain NFL untuk The University Of North Texas. Ia juga bekerja sebagai pekerja pelabuhan texas.Di pertengahan tahun 2004, pacar Austin seorang bintang film porno Tess Broussard, melaporkan sang atlet ke kepolisian setempat atas tuduhan penyerangan dan pemukulan. Kini Austin tinggal di Los Angeles, California bersama pegulat Paige Falkinburg, untuk menjalani perawatan anti Alcohol dan mencari pekerjaan sebagai bintang Film. di luar Ring ia merupakan seorang pemabuk, ia juga telah bercerai selama tiga kali (salah satunya dengan WWF Divas Debra), dan terlibat dalam beberapa kasus penyerangan.

Pada tahun 1991 Steve mendaftar di WCW sebagai “Stunning Steve Austin”. Di sini ia menjadi juara dunia televisi versi WCW beberapa kali, menjadi juara kelas berat Amerika Serikat versi WCW. Dan menjadi juara beregu WCW bersama Brian pillmann. Austin kemudian bekerja untuk ECW, sebagai komentator “ Superstar Steve Austin”. Sebelum akhirnya pindah ke WWF sebagai “The Ringmasters” dibawah Asuhan “The Million Dollar man” Ted Biasse. Dalam Setahun Stone Cold Steve Austin telah menjadi salah satu Ikon WWF.

Di King Of The Ring 1996. Steve Austin berhasil menggalahkan jake Robert (sebelum pertandingan di mulai Jake membacakan Ayat ke 16 dari kitab Yohanes nomor tiga, namun diakhir pertandingan Austin menjadi pemenang dan mengejek ayat yang dibacakan Jake dengan seruan Austin 3:16). Semula penonton memegang kartu kemenangan pada Jake.namun sekali lagi, Steve Austin yang ternyata menjadi juara King Of the Ring 1996.

Tahun 1997 austin berhasil memenangkan gelar juara Royal rumble Kontroversialnya. Ia naik lagi ke ring setelah dikeluarkan dan menjatuhkan Bret Hart saat Wrestlemania 13. Pada tahun ini pula Austin bertanding dengan Owen Hart. Ketika pertandingan berlangsung, Owen membanting Austin dengan gerakan piledriver. Menyebabkan cedera permanen pada leher Austin. Ia juga menjadi juara beregu WWF bersama Dude Love. Sepanjang tahun 1998 hingga akhir 1999. Austin memulai "permusuhannya" dengan keluarga Mcmahon. Austin baru kembali bertanding dalam ring di bulan oktober 2000 setelah beristirahat dari cedera lehernya. Ketika Era Alliance dimulai. Austin tampil sebagai pimpinan tim WWF menghadapi tim Alliansi. Beberapa waktu kemudian Steve Austin mengkhianati tim WWF, bergabung dalam WCW. Dan memulai permusuhannya dengan Kurt Angle.( Austin mencuri Medali Olympic Kurt. Dan membuangnya di sungai Detroit, Angle kemudian menculik Austin memasukkannya kedalam karung dan menggantungnya di Jembatan. Membuat Austin menangis dan memohon Ampun pada Angle. Austin memang tetap bertahan di WWF setelah era Alliance. Namun pada tahun 2002, Austin memutuskan keluar karena bermasalah dengan Manajemen, Austin tak menyetujui jalan cerita dimana ia akan bertanding melawan pendatang baru Brock lesnar. Austin kembali setahun kemudian sebagai Co General Manager di acara RAW bersama Eric Bischoff . mereka berdua bukan hanya berbeda di dalam ring, namun juga di luar ring. Austin menjadi “sheriff” WWF. Dimana ia membuat peraturan dan hukum di acara RAW. Ia menyelesaikan setiap permasalahan para Pegulat dengan aturan Austin dan tentu saja Stone Cold Stunner!!!! Di ring hampir semuanya dilakukan berdasarkan storyline, mulai dari penentuan Pegulat yang akan menang maupun kalah, pangggung, tempat, gelar juara, dan sebagainya. Termasuk dengan kebiasaan minum bir dan menjadi karakter yang menyebalkan di Ring.
