Ali Moustafa Mosharafa
Ali Moustafa Mosharafa Pasha (en arabe: علي مصطفى مشرفة), surnommé « Einstein des Arabes », né le à Damiette, et mort le , est un physicien théoricien égyptien.

Il était professeur de mathématiques appliquées à la Faculté des sciences de l'université du Caire, et a également servi en tant que son premier doyen [1].
Il a contribué à l'élaboration de la théorie quantique ainsi que la théorie de la relativité et correspondait avec Albert Einstein[2].

Mosharafa meurt le [3], à la suite d'une crise cardiaque, Il est dit qu'il était mort d'une intoxication et on dit que l'un des délégués du roi Farouk Ier d'Égypte était derrière la mort, comme il est dit que sa mort est l'une des opérations du Mossad israélien[4],[5].
Héritage
Parmi ses disciples on trouve : Fahmi Ibrahim Mikhail, Mohamed Morsi Ahmed, Attia Ashour, Afaf Sabri, Samira Moussa et Mahmoud El-Sherbini[4].
Le Newton-Mosharafa-fund est baptisé en son honneur[6]
