Article about footballer who has only played semi-professionally except for a 5-minute appearance in the Copa do Brasil and a 4-minute cameo in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C. There is no online Portuguese-language coverage of this footballer other than database entries, match reports and transfer announcements (and nothing at all which would be in-depth coverage). According to soccerway.com, he hasn't played semi-professionally since 2018. Although having played in a few minutes in a fully-pro league match creates a presumption of notability under WP:NFOOTBALL, there is a long-standing consensus that when an article comprehensively fails WP:GNG as this does, the presumption isn't valid. • Delete per nom - scraping by on NFOOTBALL insufficient if there is no coverage. There is more than expected, but not enough. GiantSnowman 08:33, 29 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete I would hate to see what would happen if we applied similar criteria for notability to professors the way we do to football players. Just imagine if "he was the teacher of record for one course at a top tier university" was enough to make someone notable. Or maybe "he published one peer reviewed article in an academic journal."John Pack Lambert (talk) 16:31, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per all of the above - not enough coverage to justify keeping an article on someone who has played 9 mins of professional football Spiderone 18:29, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
