I have subscribed to the rss feed of "ballet access news" after I noticed that several of the references pointed to it. I believe that site is fairly up to date, also for bills that die. --KarlFrei (talk) 14:18, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, that makes me feel better.  :) I was really worried that we were making such a big deal out of "current status" when perhaps we didn't have the current info! Szu (talk) 10:53, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
I don't think we have an obligation to be totally accurate regarding current status of bills, we are not a news organization. If something is wrong, somebody will come along and fix it... By the way, above I meant BALLOT access news, but perhaps you got that :-) --KarlFrei (talk) 11:46, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Yeah I figured it out... ballet access news wouldn't be very helpful in keeping up to date with NPVIC. ;-) Szu (talk) 06:09, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Maine

The bill died in Maine, could you update the map? (It passed one house.) Thanks! --KarlFrei (talk) 08:25, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Done. BTW, great job updating the legislative references. I know I'd have no idea how to do that. There's only one suggestion I'd make, which is that I think you can keep DC on the chart... of course it isn't a state, but it can join an interstate compact by an act of Congress. NPV's leaders have said that they are going to try to win approval from Congress, not just so that they can silence the critics who insist upon Congressional approval for the compact, but also so that DC can join. Szu (talk) 16:59, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Barnstar

Thanks for that :-) Now let's hope this bill will actually go somewhere! I guess it will take at least another year or two. Of course, once more states join it, the resistance to it might become larger too. Anyway, it remains an interesting idea.--KarlFrei (talk) 18:07, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Well you definitely deserved credit for all the time you put in! Yes, NPVIC is a fascinating idea... I'd love to see how it affects politics all across the country... no more red states, blue states, or swing states. It's a longshot though; if I had to guess, I'd say a constitutional amendment will probably abolish the EC first. In any case, thanks again for all the hard work!

Maps

Hi Szu, the maps at the National Popular Vote article have disappeared (the ones with the 2006 and 2007 status). Could you have a look? Thanks, --KarlFrei (talk) 07:34, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

They've disappeared? Weird... I still see them!
Maybe somebody can help if you post the problem on the article's talk page?
Szu (talk) 17:31, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
I don't know what happened there, I see them now... --KarlFrei (talk) 15:59, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
Did you see the new suggestion on the NPV talk page? It looks like a good idea to me, but I guess this work would have to be done by you... --KarlFrei (talk) 16:01, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the heads up! Szu (talk) 18:03, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi Szu, could you update the maps again? The bill is currently only still pending in seven states. (All other sessions have finished.) --KarlFrei (talk) 09:05, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

Michigan

Hi Szu, I hope you are still around. The NPVIC bill has passed the Michigan House! Could you perhaps update the map? I have no idea how that works. --KarlFrei (talk) 09:17, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Hi! Sorry I was away for a while! Looks like you got it sorted out though! Szu (talk) 09:46, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
