Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended for publicity and/or promotional purposes. If you intend to edit constructively in other topic areas, you may be granted the right to continue under a change of username. Please read the following carefully.
Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, website or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not, although if you can demonstrate a pattern of future editing in strict accordance with our neutral point of view policy, you may be granted this right. See Wikipedia's FAQ for Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again.

What can I do now?

If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you will probably not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you do intend to make useful contributions about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
    • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
    • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Alexf(talk) 17:33, 30 April 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Ortosar

Hello Ortosar,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ortosar for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Tary123 (talk) 18:04, 30 April 2013 (UTC) Tary123 (talk) 18:04, 30 April 2013 (UTC)

Request reason:

Hi Tary123,

I have read your FAQ about "self promotion" and I understand why you think this was the case. OrtoSar was created during the Bosnian war 1992-1995 as a humanitarian company for helping war victims with their handicaps. I was not trying to create a selfless promotional page but rather create an informative page on what the company did for their citizens that was recognized by numerous agencies and personnel. The links I have added under "references" along with the "awards" section on the ortosar webpage, will show the International awards it received in recognition of these humanitarian efforts. I am new to creating a Wiki page, so perhaps I did something wrong, but please try and understand the validity of what I am saying.

You have a company such as Bosnalijek (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bosnalijek), a faceless pharmaceutical company, that is also a Bosnian company which is allowed to have a page on Wikipedia, so I am just wondering what the difference is between us, other than our obvious reputation.

I hope for your prompt reply,-Ortosar

Decline reason:

Procedural decline. Your username, being the name of a company, is intrinsically promotional, and you will need to apply for a name change in order to be unblocked. Use {{unblock-un}}.--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 09:38, 1 May 2013 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Thank you for the heads-up regarding the name change. I would like to change my name from Ortosar to Rajvosa93. I hope this will be sufficient reason to unblock my username and article.

Hi, just passing through and corrected your username block request as the way you had posted it meant that your entire string of text was being transcluded as your requested username. Blackmane (talk) 22:53, 2 May 2013 (UTC)

Here are a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. (✉→BWilkins←✎) 09:27, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
