@Evad37: A little hiccup, this edit shows up in my watchlist, maybe it wont work because it's actually in the edit summary and not made by "User:AWB", this is also the reason I believe, that a bot flag wouldn't work. - Mlpearc (open channel)18:18, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It works for me with that edit – the script actually works by looking for links to the Wikipedia:AWB redirect, and then adding some code so that the line containing the link will hide when you select "hide AWB". @Mlpearc: what about other AWB edits, do they hide correctly? And are you using any of these advanced watchlist options in Special:Preferences: "Group changes by page in recent changes and watchlist" on the Recent changes tab, and/or "Expand watchlist to show all changes, not just the most recent" on the Watchlist tab, and/or "Display green collapsible arrows and green bullets for changed pages in your watchlist, page history and recent changes" on the Gadgets tab? - Evad37[talk]00:59, 10 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Redrose64: Yes I did, but I did see this one and the script works for me now, one thing I do have to do is enable each time as needed, seems it would be better if it stayed enabled/disabled until the user changes it. - Mlpearc (open channel)19:36, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Do you use the enhanced watchlist (group changes by page)? I didn't account for that option when I wrote the script last year, but it should be easy to fix... - Evad37[talk]00:37, 24 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Evad37: would there be a way to have a checkbox option, or something, that would let users hide AWB edits by default, and that they remain hidden unless enabled? Basically the behaviour now is that edits are shown unless you click "hide awb". Then if you come to your watchlist, you'll have to click "hide awb again". I'd like the opposite to be possible. The reason I ask that is I'd like to add a WP:HIDEAWB to the bot page, similar to WP:HIDEBOTS. Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books}12:43, 24 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
