Hello, I'm Tacyarg. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Margie Hines, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks for listing the sources you found in your edit summary. However, I don't think these are WP:RELIABLE sources. If you look on the article's Talk page, you can see this has been discussed. Best wishes. Tacyarg (talk) 21:21, 29 August 2020 (UTC)

Okay I was able to find multiple sources 4 different reputable websites all claiming the same death date of Feb 4 2011 and same death location of Albany New York. I Updated the account and added all the source locations DobZeapin (talk) 05:30, 6 February 2021 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 21:45, 8 March 2021 (UTC)

Oh do you mean where I added the song by Steve Earle? You don't believe that it is in the movie? DobZeapin (talk) 22:13, 8 March 2021 (UTC)

I believe if you're going to claim that the (cover) song was recorded for the movie then you should provide a source that says as much. The source that you provided makes no such claim. Cheers. DonIago (talk) 20:56, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

Yeah I read that it was recorded for the movie but I can't find the lonk anymore DobZeapin (talk) 22:56, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

Oh here it is, if you're interested, on the wikipedia page for the song if you click on "Other Versions" its in the first paragraph where it talks about the Steve Earle cover of the song;

Thanks for the link, and for understanding my concerns; I do appreciate it! Unfortunately that section is problematic as well; a lot of those covers don't currently satisfy WP:SONGCOVER. I've tagged it for improvement. DonIago (talk) 03:10, 13 March 2021 (UTC)

Right on good to chat with you about it, If I can approve my ability to edit documents while learning proper ways in citing sources thats the end goal!Have a good one DobZeapin (talk) 04:40, 13 March 2021 (UTC)

^If this were Facebook or Twitter, I'd like this. :) Glad we chatted about this, and thanks again for having a civil discussion about it! Weird thing to thank someone for perhaps, but in my experience a lot of editors get fairly hot-headed when their edits are reverted. DonIago (talk) 03:02, 14 March 2021 (UTC)

Im still trying to learn the ins and outs and any constructive criticism is welcomed! 👍 DobZeapin (talk) 03:07, 14 March 2021 (UTC)

June 2021

Hello, I'm IronManCap. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Loki (TV series) have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks. IronManCap (talk) 22:03, 26 June 2021 (UTC)

Well it was in fact constructive. It linked the character of Ravonna in the tv series to her actual Marvel Character bio. DobZeapin (talk) 22:33, 26 June 2021 (UTC)

First of all, I apologise for labelling it unconstructive as it was in good faith, but I assumed it was deliberate vandalism. However, you should know that there is a consensus to use MCU-specific links for characters rather than comics links across MCU articles. IronManCap (talk) 22:47, 26 June 2021 (UTC)

Whatever floats your boat friend DobZeapin (talk) 06:51, 27 June 2021 (UTC)

The Reason I changed it to the Wikipedia page about Ravonna is because it is the entire article, her entire biography, powers, etc.

The link that you changed it back to is just a little blurb about Ravonna, in a larger article that is not based solely upon Ravonna. DobZeapin (talk) 23:31, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

Please see WP:MCULINKS. InfiniteNexus (talk) 23:40, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

Well that seems much less informative but yeah okay DobZeapin (talk) 00:42, 4 July 2021 (UTC)

Small comment

IMDb is most likely not a film's official website so don't use that template. Use IMDb title instead. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 11:22, 16 July 2021 (UTC)

If you can fix it feel free every time I tried to name the link it would fail unless I entitled it Official Website I tried four times to call it IMDb or Internet Movie Database DobZeapin (talk) 04:39, 18 July 2021 (UTC)

Just use the {{IMDb title|ID}} template for future use. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 14:16, 18 July 2021 (UTC)

Thank you kindly DobZeapin (talk) 15:14, 18 July 2021 (UTC)

Hello DobZeapin! Your additions to Steel (1979 film) have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 09:56, 15 August 2021 (UTC)

I used a part of the plot line from a different page but it was not well suited and so I updated the vast majority of the wording so it would work as a true plotline, I thought that I had edited it heavily enough into being something new and different that the original article I got the gist of it from DobZeapin (talk) 14:27, 15 August 2021 (UTC)

Here is the CopyPatrol report; click "iThenticate report" to see the overlap. As you can see, much of your synopsis, including entire paragraphs, was largely copied without modification from the source. Feel free to rewrite the plot in your own words. DanCherek (talk) 14:58, 15 August 2021 (UTC)

Okay thanks for the update, I probably won't bother DobZeapin (talk) 15:45, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
