19 extant Pueblos
Eponymous CDPs in New Mexico
Many of these articles are not about the individual pueblos, they are about the CDP. This can be a confusing arrangement as interested readers are far more likely to be interested in the Native American pueblo (community or people), the physical pueblo (village) and not the arbitrarily defined eponymous CDP. There are merits to this system too though, mostly, it is a decent way of organizing what would otherwise likely be multiple stubs
Ambiguous and redundant use of pueblo
Pueblo can mean a people (community) or a village. Context alone does not always help to disambiguate which is meant. One solution is to write something redundant like Jemez Pueblo people, but Jemez people is sufficient.
