Netmouse has been editing Wikipedia on and off since early 2006.

Netmouse is a Smof from Ann Arbor, Michigan who does the occasional jigsaw puzzle, reads and edits SF, and does various types of design engineering, including user interaction design and experimental physics. Netmouse has a BA in History from Grinnell College and a Master's in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

In 2009 Netmouse joined and became the facilitator of the Wikipedia Strategic task force on Reader Conversion.

In August, 2010, Netmouse had a child and left off a lot of extra activities like Wiki editing. That child is now in school and Netmouse has somewhat resumed activity, including attention to coverage of York, Pennsylvania, their residence.

In 2016, Netmouse was diagnosed with a rare type of neuroendocrine cancer, with many challenging effects. Of the many things the chronic fatigue side effect steals from a person, the most frustrating one is time; time required to rest cannot be recouped in any way.
