About Me
I first created my volunteer account in March 2011 in order to help my high school students create and edit articles on Simple English Wikipedia and Chinese Wikipedia.
I've been an educator for almost two decades, at every level from elementary school through graduate school, but mostly high school. As a teacher, I taught English and Education. As a teacher-librarian, I taught information literacy. I was also an assistant principal.
I've studied several languages, but I'm only fluent in English.
I'm proud to be a part of the largest encyclopedia in human history.
About My Work
I worked at the Wikimedia Foundation.
I was a Community Advocate, a position which I held from July 2013 through March 2014.
I was a manager of the Wikipedia Education Program, a position which I held from April 2014 through February 2016.
