My name is Avory and I am a writer, blogger, editor, and activist. I currently work on web development, social media, communication, and fundraising in the non-profit sector. I am a 2009 graduate of the University of Iowa with a JD degree and a 2006 graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a BA in History. My academic interests include human rights law, global development, foreign languages, feminism, gender and sexuality studies, and European history.
