I added the conflict of interest declaration because I created and submitted the first draft of an article for what is now known as Analytic Theology. As of May 1, 2018 no article existed for Analytic Theology and given how this area of study is taking of in academic theology --- its representative body of literature is both growing and maturing --- we felt it was odd that there was no article on Wikipedia explaining what Analytic Theology was. Having said that, I am a currently a PhD student at Fuller Theological Seminary whose supervisor (Oliver Crisp) is one of the co-founders of Analytic Theology. It is in that sense that I have a conflict of interest (i.e. I am generally in favor of using analytic theology as an approach to certain types of work in systematic theology). In an attempt to be objective, this article will list also out criticisms of analytic theology. The article will also offer differences between nearby fields (philosophy of religion, and philosophical theology) <--- which happen to be questions that critics have about analytic theology and whether it really is any different than the former to disciplines.
