Born on October 28, 1981, I'm a native of of Huntsville, Alabama (Jimmy Wales's hometown). I have attended Mississippi State University, University of Alabama in Huntsville, and Athens State University, earning my B.S.Ed in Secondary Education-Language Arts from the latter school in 2005. I moved to Corvallis, Oregon in 2006 and will soon be attending Oregon State University to pursue a career in pharmaceuticals.

Aside from my interests in literature, I'm also an audiophile who enjoys a wide variety of music, ranging from early favorites like alternative rock and heavy metal to more recent favorites like punk rock, hip hop, and the all-too-wide world music genre. I follow politics, more closely than is healthy and less closely than I should. Finally, while I'm by no means an advanced computer user, I have enough experience to have built the desktop PC I'm using right now.

I spend a lot of time in the AfD pages and monitoring recent changes, so I haven't contributed much of any significance to Wikipedia other than corrections and copy edits. Since so many learned Wikipedians have contributed a good deal to the most notable topics, I often find my heavier edits going to articles related to less-significant musicians.
