User:Doyler/Violin vs. Drums debate

Although many do not consider the violin and drums to be similar, there are similarities.

Drums involve the use of drum sticks, whereas the violin makes use of a violin stick (although its rarely called by this name)[1].

The issue has been discussed in great depth by musicians, and even brought to the attention of many scientists [2]. Although the results in some areas are inconclusive. Most conclusive tests have shown results that are in favour of drums and violins being similar.

Overall, results would be drawn in favour of the two musical instruments having major similarities. It is also seen in the way people capable of playing violin are 69% more likely [3] to be able to play drums.
