My interpretation of the GFDL is that Wikipedia is far from conforming, so, to make it easier for them to use my material without having to negotiate new licensing terms with me:

My understanding is that obvious edits aren't copyrightable, but to the extent that minor edits might be considered copyrightable, and given that the UK doesn't have a concept of abandoning to the public domain:
