The Dizzy Limit

The Dizzy Limit is a sound 1930 British comedy film directed by Edward Dryhurst and starring Jasper Maskelyne, Joy Windsor and Wallace Bosco.[1] While the film has no audible dialog, it features a synchronized musical score, singing and sound effects on the soundtrack. The film was initially a silent film and was delayed from release until a soundtrack could be added. The plot of the film concerns a travelling theatre troupe. The film was also released under the title Kidnapped.

According to Jasper Maskelyne, The Dizzy Limit was the last film made in the United Kingdom without audible dialogue.[2]
