The Pisa Baptistry of St. John is a religious building in Pisa, Italy. Constructed in 1152 to replace an older baptistry, it was completed in 1363, and is the second building, in chronological order, in the Piazza dei Miracoli, near the Duomo di Pisa Cathedral and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The baptistry, with a height of 54.86 metres (180.0 ft) and a circumference of 107.24 metres (351.8 ft), was designed by Diotisalvi.Photograph: Celuici
