question

So where if the "dodgy end" of wandsworth? should it be mentioned? 38.124.250.218 (talk) 18:59, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

Confusion between borough and area

I think there are quite a few parts of this article that confuse the borough of Wandsworth with the small town of Wandsworth. For example, I recall the Evening Standard listed the whole borough (including the Battersea and Putney) when it listed it as third in the country for £1m+ property sales. I rather doubt there is that much £1m+ property in the area I would call Wandsworth, the Tonsleys may be expensive, but they are not that expensive. Of course, establishing this is made much harder because there are no citations. Can anyone add citations for some of these?Gaffertape (talk) 16:45, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

For this reason I am deleting the reference to the new US embassy. This is planned for the Nine Elms area, which is in the Borough - but miles from the town of wandsworth.--Wickifrank (talk) 02:17, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Weird emphasis

Was this article written by an estate agent? The breathless references to property values... the famous residents... the references to "excellent views across the Thames". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.23.61.208 (talk) 09:51, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Name

There might be an argument for changing this to Wandsworth Town under common usage. [1] [2] MRSC (talk) 13:07, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
