Second in Europe: not true!

This is not true. The electric tram started on 1887. november 28 in Budapest, capital city of Hungary. The Siemens-Halske made trams had to use 175V DC underground eletric cable in order not to disturb the aesthetics of Budapest with overhead wires. By 1891 there were several tram lines in Budapest and ever since.
