Silver Star stations
The article's introduction currently contains this text:
It replaced the Night Limited express passenger trains, which provided a faster service than the "Ordinary Expresses" by stopping at only six intermediate stations en-route and not dragging postal or parcels vans at the rear. The Silver Star stopped at the same six stations.
I think it would be helpful to mention which stations these were, and perhaps provide some sort of description of the train's travel time (not a timetable, as that isn't really encyclopaedic). Some other articles contain statements along the lines of "it departed Kaitaia at 3pm and reached Te Anau at 5:30pm after passing through Nelson and Taupo", and I think some brief statement like that would serve as useful clarification here. I unfortunately don't have anything like a Silver Star timetable though, so I can't make this addition myself. - Axver 03:47, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
- Twelve years later and this is still not taken up, plus the article is basically unreadable. I'm not sure I have the fortitude to tackle it, though. - Axver (talk) 09:28, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
