"shut down in 1945, operated sporadically until 1992"

This claim is wholly inaccurate, according to sources it was very busy after WW2, and in the 1950s and again in the 60s the mill had a considerable refit to more-or-less its current configuration. By the 1970s it was producing in the region of 1000 tons per day and was quite active well into the 80s.
